Astronomic Fast Radio bursts had been a bit of a mystery. Short bursts of radio waves that came from all around the cosmos were hard to pin down. But recent studies have discovered a possible origin for these short radio busts. New small Neutron stars. After pinpointing the location of a radio burst, they trained multiple telescopes on a small galaxy with a lot of new star formation yielded some results. Visually, the galaxy was small and relatively new. So, the environment for new small star formation was good. This matched with their theory and the location of the burst. With this new lead, they will be listening and watching for new star formations to verify that these new stars are the source of fast radio bursts.
