Does the Universe end, or is it curved like Earth is? And if it does have an edge, what happens at it? When it comes to space so many questions can be asked because space is not an easy to test object. It has so many variables and rates and so many of them could very much kill us if we overstep our own boundaries. So how do we know, what happens at the edge of the Universe?
Key Takeaways:
- The particle horizon is an instantaneous distance that assumes that the universe is not expanding.
- It is possible that the universe has curvature that we do not have the equipment to detect.
- There are galaxies we can see now that we cannot communicate with because space is expanding faster than the speed of light.
“The universe just goes on, and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and…”
