There have been quite a few close encounters with UFO in Illinois. Congress is expected to even hold hearings with Pentagon officials to look into the many different reports over the years of UFOs. Supposedly there have been over 4,000 sightings of UFOs in Illinois since 1947 but the actual number is probably much larger according to director Peter Davenport. This is because many people do not come out in public about their sightings due to fear of being ridiculed by others and embarrassment.
