Here we have an interesting and thought-provoking discussion about time travel. Superluminal Time Travel to be exact. In this academic discussion about time travel, we are presented with a scenario that depicts two space ships, both traveling at different rates of speed into the universe toward a point in space. The hypothesis is that the perception of time can seemingly reverse itself once the velocity of our ship reaches light speed. While this may seem possible at a glance, the reality is, we can’t travel that fast so our perceptions about time are limited due to our vantage point and fixed velocity.
Key Takeaways:
- Einstein showed us there is no universal clock, each object has their own
- The space time interval is variant to the Lorentz transformation
- Spacetime events marking the different stages of the sub-lightspeed journey transform consistently between frames
“If you communicate using Tachyon (Hypothetical faster than light or super luminal particles) it’s possible to receive a reply to a message, before the message is sent.”
