US ‘concerned’ as dozens of UFO sightings being reported every day – Daily Express

Every month, the US Government is receiving dozens of UFO sightings reports, according to the director of the office established to investigate these incidents. The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office at the Pentagon, led by Sean Kirkpatrick, is expecting hundreds, if not thousands, more reports. Kirkpatrick expressed concern over these sightings, with some potentially linked to foreign activity.

An annual report on the phenomena highlighted that the unidentified objects could pose a risk to flight safety. The report also noted that about half of the sightings could be dismissed as mundane, while only a small percentage exhibited interesting characteristics such as high-speed travel or unknown morphologies.

Kirkpatrick suggested that some sightings might be foreign states spying on the US, similar to a Chinese spy balloon shot down off the coast of South Carolina in February. He mentioned that his team was investigating interesting indicators but did not provide further details. He also expressed concern about the ability to hide in the noise of extraneous readings picked up by US radars and sensors.

From a national security perspective, Kirkpatrick stated that if a foreign adversary was involved, the widespread use of cell phones could make it difficult for them to operate undetected. In response to the growing number of sightings, the Defense Department recently launched a website to serve as a clearinghouse for declassified information regarding UFO sightings.
