There are two different teams out there that are currently preparing to send a message to aliens who might be out there in space. The messages are going to be sent by the largest radio telescope in the world. The telescope has a diameter of 1,640 feet and sends radio pulses over the sky. The other message is targeting a single star but if it makes contact, can get an instant reply. One of the interesting parts of this is that ethics of contacting alien life has come into play.
