Locals left terrified after giant disc-shaped ‘UFO’ spotted hovering over famous lake

A large, spinning object, akin to a UFO, was spotted by residents near Lake Zürich, Switzerland, causing a stir among the local population. The strange, brightly lit object was seen hovering in the night sky on October 15. Initially, it was speculated to be a nightclub light show, but the absence of a laser beam from the ground and the lack of sound made residents question this assumption.

The unusual sighting lasted for about five minutes before the object disappeared. Similar sightings were also reported in the village of Diessenhofen, about 40 miles away, and in the town of Schaffhausen, 30 miles away. Witnesses described the lights as unusual and unlike any searchlights. Skyguide, the organization responsible for monitoring Swiss airspace, could not identify the object. Intriguingly, the lights from the object did not reflect in the lake, unlike other lights.

While it remains unclear whether Swiss authorities are investigating the sighting, residents took to social media to share their thoughts.
